Mr Ahmad Kamal Bin Abdul Jalil

Kamal is the IVF Laboratory Director and Chief Embryologist of ACRM, with more than 25 years of experience in embryology and managing IVF laboratories around the world.

Throughout his career, he has always kept abreast of the latest Assisted Reproduction (AR) technologies, ensuring the implementation of new and up-to-date techniques in the laboratory, from andrology services to creating new embryos.

Between the years of 1999- 2004, Kamal played an active role in the pioneering work of In-vitro Maturation (IVM) of oocytes at McGill Reproductive Centre, McGill University, Canada. In addition to this, he also set up IVM programs in Izmir, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Prior to taking up the role as Chief Embryologist at ACRM, Kamal worked at setting up and supervising several local and international IVF Centers including:

  • Assisted Reproduction Program, National University of Hospital, Singapore
  • Mount Elizabeth Fertility Centre, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore
  • McGill Reproductive Centre, McGill University, Montreal, Canada
  • Dr. Samir Abbas Medical Centers, Jeddah, Riyadh, Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia
  • Assisted Reproduction and IVF center, Al Salam International Hospital, Kuwait
  • IVF Unit, Maternity Hospital, Ministry of Health, Kuwait
